Hi Lynn Milyo! I'm glad you found the course helpful. Thank you for taking the time to comment! We will definitely take your suggestion to include a handout next time.
Thank you for such a clear and concise workshop. I loved the balance of anatomy coupled with practical movements. So many of my current clients can benefit from the concepts shared within. Also, "level head" will stick with me for years to come.
Thanks for the worshop, it has a lot of tips to help us teach people with neck pain. My only concern is for people with osteoporosis, were we have learnt to go on spine flexion. How do you go about it?
Hi Sabrina B -- Natalia from the Pilates Anytime Team here!
We would recommend visiting our playlist Modifications for Osteoporosis, which has a lot of really helpful information on how to best serve your students. You can find a link to this playlist here: https://tinyurl.com/mscnaue7
We hope this information is helpful to you and your students!
Hi Sabrina B! Sorry we missed your comment. We find that we can do many of the protocols in the workshop while isolating the flexion to the cervical spine (which is not contraindicated for folks with osteoporosis, as compression fractures tend to happen in the lower thoracic and upper lumbar). Or we use the cervical isometric protocols for those folks. If you have further questions, feel free to email us at info@movementsciencemadesimple.com.
